This rocking chair is inspired by the shape of the Ginkgo leaf, a unique species of plant representing health and happiness in China. The floating structure of the chair in combination with its look and the use of natural upholstery enhances comfort and allows for a gentle and pleasant rocking experience.
The Project
The project was developed by a team of two in Finland. In this project, various steps such as research, ideation, ergonomic studies, CAD modeling, and function evaluation were carried out.
