‘Green Cube’ is a solution for growing plants in urban areas of Nordic countries during the cold and dark winters the region is known for. Designed to be installed on —or instead of— the cubic windows common to Finnish architecture, the design allows the plants to sustain themselves using both sunlight and artificial indoor light throughout the year. ‘Green Cube’ uses a hydroponics plant growing system to provide a clean and easy-to-maintain solution for a domestic environment.
